The Good Earth Garden Center is honored to announce our Cultivating Community Grant, an annual legacy grant created as a tribute to the ongoing efforts of Gregg and Julie Curtis to nurture and help grow community in every aspect of their lives.

During their time as owners of The Good Earth Garden Center, these efforts were concentrated not only on
educational gardening endeavors such as local school gardens but also in supporting programs dedicated to substance abuse recovery, hospice support, churches, addressing homelessness, recovery and rebuilding after domestic abuse, health initiatives, building a sustainable farm in Uganda as a way for an orphanage to support itself and many others.

We are committing to the award of $10,000 in funds in 2024, and $5,000 each year thereafter. Each annual
grant will be given in full to one Arkansas non-profit organization in support of a program(s), event or facility focused on human connection through meaningful community enrichment, education and/or outreach.

  • A representative from The Good Earth Garden Center will visit the project at some point, and will be capturing images of the project, talking with organization, communicating about the grant funded project status on marketing materials.
