Hello, I'm Hannah!
Howdy! That’s how Aggies say hello. I studied landscape architecture and then switched to horticulture because I love working with plants the most. I graduated with a degree in Horticulture from Texas A&M University. I came to The Good Earth Garden Center in 2016 and have very much enjoyed learning about the differences and similarities between Arkansas and Texas. I have also enjoyed the cooler climate. I am a member of the American Horticultural Society and have my ACNLP certification here in Arkansas. Since my childhood, I have played in the dirt and I still love planting and growing all kinds of vegetation.
One of my passions is arid landscaping and plants like succulents and cacti. I appreciate how resilient and unique these specimens are. When I’m not in the garden, I love to travel and have been to Italy, the U.K., and all over the U.S.! I also hope to return to see my birthplace on Okinawa, Japan someday. I am an outgoing person who has never met a stranger. I enjoy talking to people about plants and helping their plant journey. The best part about being at the Good Earth is having the opportunity to beautify areas for others to enjoy, and watching their reactions as it comes alive!!
