Hello, I'm Mikayla!

Hey all! I’m Mikayla, named after a 90s western TV series and born on a Hallmark holiday.

I love off roading, painting, horror movies and exploring places I shouldn’t be. My fiancé and I have many indoor and outdoor animals we care for, ranging from cats and dogs to chickens and bats. I originally received my education for architecture and design, but after working at a desk for 50+ hours a week, my focus in life shifted to bring me outdoors and I am so happy for it! I’m enrolled in more classes for horticulture and greenhouse management because I am big on continuing education, which is why my favorite part of being at Good Earth is learning from my peers. I am on a few committees that reflect my personal morals and passions; Preserve Arkansas, Arkansas Federation Garden Club, Little Rock Sustainability committee, and a couple of other local groups. I’ve lived in Arkansas, California and Colorado…but Arkansas is definitely my favorite!
