Potting Soil

In 2010, we started working with Berger, a premium growing media provider, to create a high quality mix both to grow our perennials in and one we felt good about recommending to our customers for their container plantings.  Since 2011, we have been stocking our Good Earth brand Professional Growing Mix and all our perennials are grown in it to this day!  Here is what we love about it; it contains Actino root protection, slow release iron and humic acid, enhancing root systems and promoting plant health and vigor.  Out customers who use it, from homeowners to landscapers, love it.

Besides container gardens, it’s also great as the primary building block of raised garden beds and a wonderful option for houseplant potting soil. The sphagnum moss based potting soil, is actually what is considered a ‘soil less’ mix, and contains perlite, and a bit of composted pine bark in addition to the finely ground moss.
