Although there are many spruces available, we carry primarily Dwarf Alberta Spruce, which are mainly sold as cool season pyramidal evergreens for fall and winter container gardens.   In general, spruce trees do not live well here in our hot and humid climate. If you are attempting to grow Dwarf Alberta Spruce year round, place in a cool area with plenty of air flow, preferably in shade during the summer season. Water regularly throughout the season after planting in well-drained soil (Good Earth brand Professional Potting Mix works well). Trailing pansies such as the Cool Wave series work well to surround the Dwarf Alberta Spruce.
