Yes, there are some hardy palms for the central Arkansas area! Keep in mind that even hardy palms could suffer or even have significant die back if our temperatures go very low, especially if the root zone is dry during prolonged periods of freezing temperatures. Protect roots by mulching well. Plant in full sun, in moist, well-drained soil.
