Zelkovas are low maintenance, large, deciduous shade trees. We carry Green Vase Zelkova, which has more narrow, upright, vase shaped growing habit, and shows a better drought tolerance than some other Zelkova trees. Green Vase grows to around 60-70 feet tall and 35-40 feet wide at maturity. Plant in average, medium moisture, well-drained soil. This tree is generally tolerant of urban conditions. Although they do bloom, the flowers and the resulting drupe are insignificant. Green Vase is also known for its improved fall color, which is an orange-bronze color. The serrated margined leaves are a medium green during the growing season.
