Tropical Butterfly Weed

Tropical Butterfly Weed offers the same butterfly attracting qualities as the perennial Butterfly Weed but is not winter hardy here.  As a result our stock of this item varies with the seasons; we typically stock this plant spring through mid-summer.  Here are some helpful tips on growing Tropical Butterfly Weed:

  • Full sun
  • Plant in quality soil such as Good Earth brand Professional Growing Mix
  • Water regularly but avoid over watering
  • Feed with BR-61 for optimum blooming
  • Blooms spring to fall
  • Available in a variety of bloom colors and plant forms
  • Works well in container gardens and in landscape beds
  • A must for butterfly gardens!
