Asiatic Jasmine is an evergreen, trailing vine with dark green leaves and insignificant white, fragrant flowers. Although it can climb if forces, this jasmine is best planted as a groundcover. Plant in fertile, well-drained soil and provide regular water. Prune in late winter to maintain appearance. When planted in mass as groundcover, it can form a thick and uniform mat if trimmed well. Although it does best with some afternoon shade, it can tolerate more sun if watered well.
