Crocosmia offers distinctive, brightly colored blooms in the summer and the narrow bladed foliage provides vertical height to the garden. Crocosmia blooms a bit later in the summer than other perennials and the wands of scarlet, red, orange and yellow are very eye-catching. Flowers attract hummingbirds and seedpods attract birds. Plants can be found as bulbs or may be container grown.
