Iris is a very large genus with over 300 species. Bloom types may be bearded, beardless, or crested and some species have variegated foliage. Iris plants are well loved and for good reason…they are tough, easy to divide and transplant and offer many color choices. The long strappy leaves add an interesting texture to borders, landscape beds, wet areas and rock gardens.
