Forsythia is one of the first harbingers of spring each year; a blaze of yellow flowers welcomes the season in an eye-catching display. They are widely known for their use as a shrub border, a bank or for hedging. Flowers may be light to deep yellow in color. New cultivars featuring new forms and many more blooms have recently become available; size and flowering is cultivar specific.
