Hot House Restock Late Summer 2026
The past month or so has been an exciting time in the Hot House! We’ve received two large plant shipments filled with exciting new additions, some of your most requested favorites, and the tried-and-true classics we always love to carry.
We thought it would be fun to give you all the details on the 6 new plants we’ve never carried before, along with a look at everything else that arrived in these shipments! As always, our inventory is constantly changing as plants find new homes, so this is just a snapshot of what’s happening in the Hot House as of August 2026.
New in the Hot House:
1) Monstera Burle Marx Flame 6″
About: The Monstera Burle Marx Flame is a highly sought after house plant! Named after Brazilian landscape designer Roberto Burle Marx, the plant’s deeply cut leaves develop a flame-like appearance as it grows and matures. It is climbing and slow growing.
Light: Bright, indirect light
Water: Let the top 1/2 of the soil dry out before watering + avoid over watering
Humidity: likes average to slightly above average humidity – it’s a very versatile plant!
Support: A moss pole or a trellis will promote climbing and larger leaves. Grows best in a chunky aroid soil mix.
2) Sanseveria ‘Samurai’ 4″
About: The Sanseveria ‘Samurai’ is a cute and compact snake plant! It’s loved for its sturdy and upright leaves and low-maintance nature.
Light: Can survive in low light but prefers but will thrive in bright light
Water: Water it well and then let it dry out completely before you water in again. Very drought tolerant
Humidity: Average to dry humidity preference – avoid putting somewhere damp
Support: This plant loves to grow in compact spaces and likes to be pot bound
3) Hoya Kerii 4″
About: Also called the “sweetheart plant,” the Hoya Kerii is known for its thick, waxy, heart shaped leaves! It is a slow-growing and vining plant that can eventually produce clusters of fragrant, star-shaped flowers when mature.
Light: Bright, indirect light
Water: Allow soil to dry between waterings and avoid watering with cold water as it may shock the plant
Humidity: Thrives in warm and average to humid conditions
Support: Can be trained to climb on a trellis or grow in a hanging basket.
4) Hoya Callistophylla Hanging Baskets 4″
About: Hoya Callistophylla is a fan favorite because of its unique and beautiful veiny foliage! It’s waxy leaves make it drought and disease-resistant. As the plant matures it produces clusters of pink flowers.
Light: Bright, indirect light
Water: Water when the top inch or two of the soil dries out. Drought tolerant
Humidity: Moderate
Support: Can be trained to climb on a trellis or grow in a hanging basket.
5) Philodendron ‘Majestic’ Bush 6″
About: The Philodendron ‘Majestic’ is a cross of Philodendron sodiroi and Philodendron verrucosum. It has beautiful heart shaped foliage with silver hues and pink undersides!
Light: Medium to bright indirect light
Water: Water when the top inch or two of the soil dries out
Humidity: likes average to high humidity
Support: A moss pole or a trellis will promote climbing and larger leaves. Grows best in a chunky aroid soil mix.
6) Philodendron ‘Painted Lady’ 6″
About: The Philodendron ‘Painted Lady’ is a beautiful, low maintenance climbing plant that is perfect for house plant beginners! The new leaves are a lovely golden color with chartreuse speckling that resemble watercolor brushstrokes – hence the name! As the foliage matures, the golden leaves will turn into a light green color and the chartreuse will become a deeper green color.
Light: Medium to bright indirect light
Water: Water when the top inch or two of the soil dries out
Humidity: likes average to slightly above average humidity
Support: A moss pole or a trellis will promote climbing and larger leaves. Grows best in a chunky aroid soil mix.
