Our Good Earth Garden Mural

A smiling person in denim overalls stands with arms outstretched in front of a colorful mural featuring flowers, butterflies, and the words where wonder GROWS painted on a wall under a partly cloudy sky.

We did a thing; a big thing and actually our friend and artist Brennan Henson created it! We feel very fortunate to know Brennan; she worked with us for a bit before moving on to her true calling of full time artist.

A mural has long been on our must-have list but it wasn’t until we saw Brennan’s work on another mural that we knew it was the right time… and we now had just the right artist. Working with her to make our thoughts bloom into this outstanding art has been a delight; she got it. Somehow, Brennan understood what we wanted immediately.

Why a mural? Well, we want every visit with us to be an experience where you feel the magic and beauty of growing things, the sense of wonder that nature brings through the gardening process. There is something about the natural world that puts things in perspective and makes us feel like a small part of a very big thing… hence the oversized flowers, bee and butterfly.

We invite you to stop by to visit us, and the mural of course, and your time with us filled with the wonder of gardening. Keep reading to learn more about Brennan.

Brennan Henson

I’ve been creating art for over 20 years, drawing inspiration from nature, nostalgia, and the texture and color in everyday life. My work ranges from playful critters on vintage wood cutouts to large-scale murals like this one. While working at the Good Earth Garden Center for a little over a year, I found a supportive community that became a stepping stone toward launching my own art business. Each piece I create is a reflection of the joy I find in bringing color and character to the spaces we share.
